Module Feature

ES3403 belongs to Unidrive ES series dedicated elevator AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Control Techniques. Optimized for elevator traction machine control, it delivers ultra-smooth speed curve and high low-speed torque to ensure comfortable riding experience. It supports open-loop and closed-loop vector control, compatible with asynchronous and permanent magnet traction motors. Built-in elevator-specific logic functions and rich I/O terminals, encoder interface for position feedback. Widely applied in passenger elevators, freight lifts and modernization retrofit projects.

Working principle

Three-phase AC power is rectified to DC bus voltage. IGBT power module outputs adjustable voltage and frequency AC to drive traction motor. The drive executes elevator S-curve speed profile automatically, receives encoder feedback signal to achieve closed-loop speed regulation. Dynamic brake circuit handles regenerative energy during car deceleration, to guarantee stable floor leveling.

Installation

Follow ESD safety procedure before handling.Mount vertically with enough ventilation clearance.Connect three-phase main power to L1/L2/L3 terminals,traction motor cable to U/V/W terminals.Connect encoder cable with shielded wiring,separate power cable and signal cable to reduce EMI interference.Complete motor auto-tune and elevator leveling parameter commissioning before operation.

Diagnostic
