MVI56E-MNET/MNETXT belongs to ProSoft MVI56E enhanced series module.It plugs directly into Rockwell ControlLogix 1756 rack,MNETXT version supports Logix-XT extreme environment platform,compatible with ControlLogix PAC controllers,backward compatible with legacy MVI56-MNET.Suitable for connecting Modbus TCP ethernet field instruments,industrial system renovation and spare replacement.

Function

It works as Modbus TCP client and server at the same time,supports multiple concurrent TCP connections.It can read and write data with remote Modbus TCP devices,and respond to Modbus TCP client requests.Supports up to 5000 16-bit user registers for data exchange.Data mapped to ControlLogix controller memory via backplane.MNETXT adopts conformal coating for dust and corrosion protection under extreme temperature sites.

Installation

Insert module into ControlLogix chassis backplane,connect Ethernet cable,set IP address and configure Modbus command list via ProSoft Configuration Builder,import AOI into Studio5000,download project through RSLinx,check LED indicators after power-up.
