Function

Serve as VME rack interface controller for Opto22 PAMUX distributed remote I/O system.

Realize communication between VME main controller and daisy-chained remote PAMUX I/O brain boards.

Supports digital and analog signal collection and control output of remote field stations.

Support up to 500 I/O points expansion,remote I/O station can be placed far away from VME cabinet.

Transmit field I/O data and control commands between backplane and remote PAMUX bus.

Installation

Power off VME chassis.

Insert XVME-202 card into empty VME slot,tighten front panel fixing screw.

Connect 50pin flat ribbon cable to remote PAMUX I/O brain boards.

Power on chassis,run hardware self-test.

VME CPU scans bus,identifies the board and starts PAMUX remote I/O communication.
