Products Description
Yaskawa SGM7A‑70D6F61 Servo Motor Unit

Module Feature
SGM7A‑70D6F61 is Yaskawa Sigma7 SGM7A low‑inertia permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, rated 7kW, 400V grade. Built‑in 24‑bit high resolution serial encoder, no brake, straight shaft without keyway. It features fast dynamic response, suitable for high‑speed and frequent start‑stop motion axes, matched with SGD7S series SERVOPACK drive. Widely used for machine tools, packaging equipment and electronic automation production lines.
Working principle
Permanent magnet rotor forms fixed magnetic field. The servo drive outputs variable frequency three‑phase AC to stator winding to generate rotating magnetic field. Magnetic coupling produces torque to drive rotor rotation. Encoder feeds back real‑time position signal to drive to realize closed‑loop speed and position control.
Onboard components
Permanent magnet rotor, stator winding, serial encoder unit, temperature sensor, power and encoder connectors, motor housing, bearing assembly.
LED indicators
No onboard LED indicators. Operating state and fault information are displayed on SGD7S drive panel or SigmaWin+ software.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Detect encoder communication abnormality, motor overtemperature, winding insulation fault, read alarm codes through SigmaWin+ software.
Programming software
Parameter identification, gain tuning and diagnosis by Yaskawa SigmaWin+ software.
