The CI854AK01 3BSE030220R1 is a high‑performance PROFIBUS‑DP Master Module for ABB AC800M DCS platform, it is reliable AC800M Fieldbus Interface Unit for connecting remote I/O, drives and field instruments over PROFIBUS‑DP fieldbus. The complete set consists of CI854A communication board and matching TP854 baseplate.

Dual DB‑9 PROFIBUS ports support physical line redundancy, effectively avoid single‑cable failure risk. Operating as PROFIBUS‑DP master, it can connect up to 99 slave devices such as S800 remote I/O, frequency converters and third‑party field instruments. It exchanges cyclic process data with AC800M main CPU through CEX‑Bus backplane bus. The module supports hot‑swap replacement without rack power‑off, and can cooperate with CPU redundancy to build full redundant control system for critical process plants.

Front‑panel LED indicators show power supply status, CEX‑Bus link and PROFIBUS bus communication condition.
