The CI854AK01 3BSE030221R1 is complete PROFIBUS‑DP/V1 master communication kit for ABB AC800M and 800xA DCS control system.

This kit consists of CI854A communication main unit and matching TP854 baseplate, connects to AC800M CEX‑Bus backplane bus, works as PROFIBUS‑DP master station. Two galvanic‑isolated PROFIBUS‑DP channels can connect a large number of field slave devices, dual‑channel physical line redundancy effectively reduces communication failure risk. Cooperated with BC810 module, it supports master station hot‑standby redundancy for high‑reliability industrial control scenarios.

Hot‑swap design allows online module replacement without DCS system shutdown. Front‑panel LED indicators display power, operation, bus and fault status for quick on‑site diagnosis. Built‑in bus self‑diagnosis function detects bus short‑circuit, slave dropout and communication abnormality, and uploads alarm information to DCS controller.
