System compatibilityPF4000 belongs to Atlas Copco Power Focus 4000 series single-tool tightening controller. Compatible with Atlas Copco Tensor series electric nutrunner tools. This series includes multiple variants: basic C version without HMI, G version with Graph local HMI; optional fieldbus modules including Profinet, Profibus DP, DeviceNet. It can communicate with PLC and MES system for fastening result upload, production traceability and remote parameter control.

FunctionPF4000 is high precision torque-angle control unit for automated bolt assembly. It executes multi-step tightening programs, monitors torque and angle curve in real time and judges OK/NOK fastening results. It supports fastening data storage, error-proofing logic and integrated emergency stop safety relay. It can be equipped with Graph HMI for local program editing, widely used for automotive and heavy machinery assembly lines.

InstallationCut off power before installation. Mount controller inside electrical cabinet. Connect AC power, tool motor cable and communication wiring. Install optional fieldbus module if required. Configure tightening parameters via local Graph panel or ToolsTalk software. Complete tool calibration and test tightening before online operation.
