Feature & Principle

It is Contemp P501 series thyristor power controller. It uses anti-parallel SCR as power switching device, receives 4-20mA / 0-10V analog control signal from PLC or temperature controller, adjusts conduction angle to change output power. It supports phase angle and zero-crossing triggering modes, suitable for resistive heating loads. It integrates current detection, temperature monitoring and fault alarm output, can quickly cut off output when abnormal. Widely used in industrial furnace, plastic extrusion, coating oven, thermal forming heating control.
