Products Description

Control Techniques EN-204-00-000 EN Servo Drive Unit

Module Feature

EN-204-00-000 belongs to EN series fully digital AC servo drive manufactured by Control Techniques. It supports seven selectable operation modes including speed, torque and closed-loop position control. Accept snap-on FM function modules for indexing, motion programming and fieldbus communication such as Profibus, DeviceNet and Ethernet. Built-in diagnostic display with time-stamped fault log, integrated dynamic braking transistor. Widely applied in packaging machinery, material handling, cutting equipment and precision multi-axis automation systems.

Working principle

AC input power is rectified to DC bus. IGBT power stage outputs three-phase variable voltage and frequency AC to drive permanent magnet servo motor. Encoder feedback signal is received by drive to realize closed-loop torque, speed and position regulation. Dynamic braking circuit consumes regenerative energy during motor deceleration. Optional FM expansion module adds advanced motion sequence and bus communication functions.

Onboard components

Input rectifier bridge,IGBT power module, main digital control PCB,LCD diagnostic display, dynamic braking transistor, power terminal block, encoder connector, motor power connector,FM function module expansion slot.

LED indicators

Power LED,run status LED,fault alarm LED.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Overvoltage,undervoltage,overcurrent,overtemperature,output short circuit,earth fault,phase loss,encoder signal loss,FM module communication fault detection.

Programming software

PowerTools FM software, supports motor parameter auto-tune,real-time motion monitoring, fault log reading and parameter backup & restore.
