Module Feature

ES4402 belongs to Unidrive ES series elevator dedicated high-performance AC drive manufactured by Control Techniques. It adopts dedicated elevator control algorithm, supports open-loop vector and closed-loop flux vector control, suitable for asynchronous elevator traction motors. Integrated safety torque off (STO) safety function. Equipped with multi-channel digital and analog I/O terminals, optional expansion slots for encoder feedback and fieldbus communication modules. Optimized for smooth start-stop, leveling accuracy and ride comfort, widely applied in passenger elevators, freight elevators and vertical lifting equipment.

Working principle

Three-phase 50/60Hz AC mains power is rectified to DC bus. IGBT power stage outputs adjustable voltage and frequency AC to control traction motor speed and torque. The drive receives elevator controller command signals, performs high-precision speed profile control; encoder feedback realizes closed-loop speed and position regulation. Built-in dynamic braking circuit absorbs regenerative energy during car deceleration.

Installation

Follow ESD safety procedure before handling.Mount vertically and reserve sufficient ventilation clearance.Separate power cables and signal cables to reduce EMI interference.Connect three-phase mains to L1/L2/L3 terminals and motor cable to U/V/W terminals.Complete motor auto-tune and elevator parameter commissioning before operation.

Diagnostic
