Module Feature

HFD3080L belongs to Eaton Series C HFD molded case circuit breaker,F frame,3-pole,80A rated current,600VAC /250VDC. It adopts fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit; thermal element protects overload,magnetic element provides instantaneous short-circuit protection. High interrupt capacity:100kAIC@240V,65kAIC@480V. Widely used in MCC cabinets,power distribution panels,fans,pumps and general industrial power circuit protection.

Working principle

Bimetallic strip heats and deforms under continuous overload current to trigger thermal trip. Magnetic coil instantly trips when severe short-circuit current occurs. Manual handle supports ON/OFF/RESET operation. Optional auxiliary contacts can feed breaker running/trip status back to PLC control system.

Onboard components

Molded insulating housing,bimetal thermal element,magnetic trip coil,main contact assembly,arc quenching chamber,manual operating handle,line & load terminal blocks.

LED indicators

No built-in LED indicators; status feedback comes from optional auxiliary contact.

Installation
