Module Feature

HND312WK belongs to Eaton Series C large frame molded case circuit breaker. Rated current 1200A, 3-pole design, rated voltage up to 600VAC. High breaking capacity: 100kA@240VAC,50kA@480VAC,35kA@600VAC. Busbar type terminals, no cable lugs supplied. Adopts thermal-magnetic trip mechanism, provides overload and short-circuit protection. Robust molded insulation housing for heavy duty continuous power distribution. Widely used as main incoming protection for factory power rooms, large control panels and industrial power distribution systems.

Working principle

Bi-metallic thermal element reacts to overload current and triggers delayed trip. Magnetic trip element instantly responds to large short-circuit fault current. Internal mechanical linkage releases contact mechanism to cut off power circuit, protecting downstream cables and electrical equipment.

Onboard components

Molded insulating housing, moving & fixed main contacts, bimetallic thermal trip element, magnetic trip coil, mechanical operating handle, arc extinguishing chamber, busbar connection terminals.

LED indicators

No built-in LED indicators.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection of contact surface and arc chamber, test trip function, measure insulation resistance, check tightening torque of busbar connection.

Installation

Follow strict high voltage safety procedure before handling.Mount breaker firmly inside power cabinet.Connect incoming and outgoing busbar, apply specified torque to connection bolts.Complete trip test before energizing the main circuit.

Interface

Busbar connection interface, mechanical operation handle.

Diagnostic

Cannot close handle:interlock triggered or internal fault. Trips immediately after power on:short circuit downstream or damaged trip assembly. Overheating at terminals:insufficient bolt torque, loose busbar connection.
