F911-7M Pressure Transmitter Unit

Module Feature

F911-7M is a general-purpose industrial pressure transmitter of F911 series. It adopts piezoresistive sensing principle, built-in signal conditioning circuit for temperature compensation and non-linearity correction. Wetted parts are stainless steel, resistant to weak corrosive media. Compact structure, IP67 enclosure allows outdoor installation. It supports gauge pressure or absolute pressure version options. Standard 4-20mA two-wire loop power, easy wiring with PLC and DCS systems. Integrated overpressure and reverse polarity protection. Widely used for water supply pipeline, tank pressure, HVAC, pump monitoring and light chemical process measurement.

Working principle

Medium pressure acts on the stainless steel diaphragm of the sensor element. Internal piezoresistive bridge generates tiny voltage signal proportional to pressure. Amplifier and ADC circuit convert raw signal into standard 4-20mA current output. The current signal transmits to remote indicator or control system for continuous pressure monitoring and interlock control.

LED indicators

No local LED indicators, status and value are read from upper control system.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Self-diagnosis covers sensor signal out of range, open circuit, short circuit and supply voltage abnormality. Fault state is represented by 3.8mA or 22mA fault current.

Programming software

Handheld calibrator for zero and span adjustment; supporting configuration software for range reset on selected variants.

Installation

Install transmitter on pressure tapping point. Avoid strong vibration and high temperature radiation. Connect process thread with proper sealing. Wire 24V DC loop power and 4-20mA signal cable to control I/O card. Perform zero calibration after installation before commissioning.

Interface

Process pressure port, cable entry gland, two-wire signal terminals.

Diagnostic

Fixed 4mA reading: Sensor diaphragm damage, blocked pressure port or cable open circuit. Output stuck at 20mA: Overpressure event, signal short circuit. Value drift: Diaphragm fouling, temperature fluctuation, calibration offset.
