Products Description

Fisher 1052 Pneumatic Diaphragm Actuator

Technical Specifications

Model:1052 Brand:Fisher Product Type: Reverse acting spring-diaphragm pneumatic control valve actuator

Module Feature

Fisher 1052 is widely used reverse acting spring diaphragm actuator. It converts instrument air pressure into linear mechanical thrust to operate globe control valve. Modular spring design allows changing bench set range by replacing spring kit. It features stable performance, simple maintenance and strong adaptability. Widely used in oil, gas, chemical and power plant modulating control valves.

Working principle: Air pressure enters diaphragm chamber to compress spring and produce linear stem thrust Onboard components: Diaphragm assembly, compression spring, stem, upper and lower housing, yoke, stem connector

LED indicators

Not equipped

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection, diaphragm and spring inspection, air tightness test, bench range calibration, full stroke test

Programming software

No dedicated software required

Pneumatic Parameters

Supply signal: 3-15psi standard instrument signal Acting type: Reverse acting

Mechanical & Structure

Mounting: Yoke mounted on top of globe control valve bonnet Protection class:IP66

Environmental

Operating temperature:-40℃ ~ +120℃ Ambient humidity:5~95% non-condensing Certification:CE Status:Fisher 1052 series pneumatic diaphragm actuator

System compatibility

Compatible with Fisher globe control valves, matched with 3582,3622 pneumatic positioner and DVC series FIELDVUE digital valve controllers.

Function

1052 is spring diaphragm actuator manufactured by Fisher. When instrument air signal pressure changes, diaphragm generates thrust against spring force to push valve stem, adjusting valve plug position for flow regulation. Diaphragm rupture or spring fatigue will lead to thrust loss and stroke error. It is the standard driving unit for Fisher globe control valve.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Mount actuator yoke on valve bonnet, connect valve stem and actuator stem. Install valve positioner and instrument air tubing. Set bench range, perform air tightness test and full stroke calibration.

Interface

Yoke flange connection with valve bonnet, air signal port for positioner output, stem connector links actuator stem and valve stem, no LED indicators on 1052.

Diagnostic

Insufficient thrust: Diaphragm damage or spring failure. Stroke drift: Internal air leakage inside actuator chamber. Valve oscillation: Unstable air signal or mechanical friction.

Product Brief

1052 Fisher reverse acting spring diaphragm pneumatic actuator, converts instrument air signal to linear stem thrust for globe control valve, for oil gas chemical and power plant process modulation, standard valve driving actuator.
