Function

54.24003 is compact three-way modulating control valve manufactured by Fisher Baumann. It is designed for mixing two incoming streams or diverting one inlet flow to two outlets. Digital positioner provides precise travel control and online valve diagnostics. Suitable for temperature control of heating and cooling loop. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and HVAC process system.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Isolate process pipeline and depressurize. Install valve according to marked flow direction. Mount actuator and DVC2000 positioner, connect instrument air and 4-20mA+HART cable. Perform auto-calibration and full stroke test, then run seat leakage and diagnostic test.

Diagnostic

Valve cannot switch flow path: Actuator air supply fault or positioner calibration error. Internal leakage: Seat ring or plug sealing surface damage. HART communication error: Signal wiring fault or electronic board failure. High packing leakage: Packing aging or improper packing tightening.
