Function

DVC6200 is smart digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It precisely regulates valve stroke according to 4-20mA control signal. It continuously monitors valve travel,air pressure and valve health status. It supports online valve diagnostics,partial stroke test and remote parameter setup via HART communication. It improves control accuracy and reduces valve maintenance downtime. It is widely used for modulating control valve in chemical,oil & gas and power industry.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and electric power. Mount positioner on valve actuator, connect instrument air tubing and 4-20mA HART signal cable. Perform auto calibration and stroke test. Restore power and air supply, run valve function and diagnostic inspection.

1/4"NPT pneumatic ports, 1/2"NPT electrical conduit port, HART two-wire signal connection on DVC6200.

Diagnostic

Valve not responding: Loss of 4-20mA signal or no instrument air supply. Large position deviation: Calibration drift or position sensor fault. Valve sticking alarm: Valve packing friction increase or mechanical jam.
