IC693CMM301 is the dedicated Genius bus communication module for GE Fanuc Series 90‑30 PLC platformQualitrol.

This intelligent module provides high‑speed global‑data communication function based on Genius token‑passing peer‑to‑peer bus. It can realize automatic cyclic shared‑data exchange among multiple GE PLC stations on the same Genius bus. Each station can send and receive up to 32 bytes of global data, which is suitable for inter‑locking signal transmission, production‑parameter sharing and distributed control data interaction among multi‑PLC systems.

The module adopts shielded twisted‑pair daisy‑chain wiring mode. Both ends of the bus must be equipped with terminal resistors to guarantee anti‑interference performance of the whole network. Two front‑panel LED lights show module running health and Genius bus communication status, convenient for on‑site fault diagnosis and commissioning. No jumper or DIP switch on hardware, all configuration parameters are finished through PLC programming software.

It can cooperate with Genius remote I/O devices to build distributed I/O network, also can communicate cross‑series with 90‑70, Series‑Six PLC equipped with Genius bus controller. Widely used for reconstruction and spare‑part maintenance of legacy GE Fanuc automation systems.
