Product Function Description

VME‑5565 VMIVME‑5565 is a classic VME bus reflective memory node card, which builds hardware‑level shared memory real‑time network through optical fiber ring. When any node writes data to local reflective memory, the hardware automatically mirrors and synchronizes the data to all other nodes in the optical ring without consuming CPU resources, realizing deterministic low‑latency data synchronization among multiple controllers.

The module supports ring and star network structures, can configure redundant optical links to improve system stability. It carries four groups of network hardware interrupts, which can send trigger signals with data payload between nodes. It is compatible with PCI‑5565, PMC‑5565 and other series reflective memory boards, and can build mixed‑bus multi‑node networks. It is widely used in industrial scenarios with strict requirements for real‑time performance and synchronization accuracy. VME‑5565 and VMIVME‑5565 are different naming variants of the same hardware product.

Product Details

Standard 6U Eurocard single‑slot structure, directly plug‑in VME cabinet slot. Conformal coated circuit board adapts to complex industrial environment with dust and electromagnetic interference. This legacy reflective memory module has been discontinued by original manufacturer, mainly used for old‑equipment maintenance and spare‑part replacement. Strict ESD protection shall be adopted during installation. Verify optical fiber parameters and node address configuration before commissioning.
