Products Description
HIMA F7126 Isolated DC‑DC Power Supply Module

Module Feature
F7126 is HIMA rack‑type isolated DC‑DC power‑supply module, specially designed for HIMA H41q / H51q safety instrumented SIS rack chassis. It converts 24 VDC system input power into stable, galvanically‑isolated 5 VDC logic power for rack internal safety CPU and I/O boards. Supports redundant parallel operation; front‑panel potentiometer allows fine‑tune output voltage; built‑in comprehensive hardware protections: over‑voltage protection, current limiting, short‑circuit withstand. Widely used in petrochemical SIS / ESD safety shutdown systems, complies with safety‑related rack hardware requirements, can be configured hot‑standby redundant power architecture.
Working principle
Input 24 VDC feeds internal isolated DC‑DC conversion circuit. Galvanic isolation separates primary‑side field power and secondary‑side safety logic power, suppress ground‑loop interference. Output voltage is regulated; current‑limit and over‑voltage hardware circuits act immediately upon abnormal load conditions to protect downstream safety‑related boards. Multiple F7126 modules can run in parallel for redundant power feeding to improve system availability.
Onboard components
Isolated DC‑DC transformer circuit, output voltage adjustment potentiometer, over‑voltage protection circuit, current‑limiting circuit, short‑circuit protection hardware, front‑panel test socket, rack back‑plane golden‑finger connector, metal‑shielded 8‑TE Eurocard PCB assembly.
LED indicators
Front‑panel status LED; lights when output power is normal; extinguish or flash under fault conditions (over‑voltage, overload, short‑circuit).
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Hardware automatic trigger protection under over‑voltage, overload, short‑circuit. Module fault status is reported to HIMA safety CPU via rack back‑plane; fault information can be read by HIMA engineering software. Output voltage can be measured via front‑panel test socket for manual verification.
Programming software
No dedicated configuration software. Redundant‑system parameter settings are completed within HIMA safety logic engineering tool; module itself is pure hardware power‑conversion unit.

Installation
Insert F7126 module into HIMA H41q / H51q rack slot. Confirm 24 VDC input power is normal. Fine‑tune output voltage via front‑panel potentiometer, measure at test socket to match rack specification. For redundant configuration, ensure output‑voltage deviation between parallel modules ≤0.025 V. Verify rack CPU and I/O boards power‑on normally.
Interface
Rack back‑plane golden‑finger connector; front‑panel test‑measurement socket.
Diagnostic
No output:24 VDC input missing or internal primary fuse blown. Output collapse under load:Over‑current / short‑circuit trigger current‑limit protection. Redundant‑system unbalanced load:Output‑voltage difference between parallel modules exceeds 0.025 V, re‑adjust potentiometer. LED off:Module internal hardware failure, replace spare module.
