System compatibility

T8433 belongs to ICS TRIPLEX Trusted SIS safety instrumented system and installs inside T8300 or T8314 expander rack. It collects isolated 4-20mA analog signals from field pressure, temperature and flow transmitters,converts analog signals to digital data and transmits triplicated validated data to expander processor. Widely deployed in oil & gas,petrochemical and chemical plants for ESD emergency shutdown and fire & gas safety protection.

Function

T8433 serves as high integrity 20-channel isolated analog input unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It samples 4-20mA loop signals and adopts TMR 2oo3 hardware voting logic to obtain accurate process values. It supports 1ms high precision SOE sequence of events recording for incident trace analysis. Each channel continuously monitors loop health,open circuit and short circuit faults. It supports hot swap replacement without powering down the expansion rack.

Installation

Insert T8433 vertically into dedicated I/O slot of T8300/T8314 expander chassis. Connect field transmitter wiring to terminal assembly. Check channel readings and fault alarms via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
