This power distribution hardware belongs to ICS TRIPLEX Trusted SIS safety instrumented system and is installed inside T8100 Trusted rack cabinet. It receives 24VDC power from power supply module and distributes regulated power to all backplane slots for processor and I/O modules. It communicates with system engineering workstation,widely deployed in oil & gas,petrochemical and chemical plants for ESD emergency shutdown and fire & gas safety protection.

Function

T8230 serves as the high integrity rack power distribution unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It routes and distributes 24VDC power to each module slot on the backplane. It continuously runs self-diagnosis to detect branch overcurrent,short circuit and power distribution abnormality in real time. Built-in branch protection prevents single slot fault from affecting the whole rack power.

Installation

Insert the module vertically into dedicated power distribution slot of T8100 Trusted SIS rack. Complete power wiring and backplane bus connection,verify power distribution status and fault diagnosis via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
