Module Feature

RL48PBT001B10A belongs to IDEC RL series high-capacity electromagnetic power relay. It is designed for heavy load switching in industrial control cabinets. It adopts compact plastic housing, supports standard DIN rail snap mounting without extra fixtures. It provides stable contact switching capacity, good arc suppression performance, low operating noise and long mechanical and electrical service life. Widely applied for pump, fan, lighting and heater load control in PLC output expansion, HVAC and machine tool control systems.

Working principle

When rated coil voltage is applied, electromagnetic coil generates magnetic force to pull the armature. The armature drives contact spring assembly to switch contact state between NO and NC terminals. Once coil power supply is cut off, return spring resets contacts back to original state. It realizes electrical isolation between control signal side and high-power load side.

LED indicators

Built-in power indicator LED, lights up when relay coil is energized.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Check LED indication status, test contact continuity, inspect contact burning and pitting, measure coil resistance, check terminal heating and loose wiring.

No configuration software, purely electromagnetic mechanical switching device, no parameter setting function.

Installation

Snap relay onto standard 35mm DIN rail. Wire coil terminals to control signal circuit, connect load power cable to contact terminals. Tighten terminal screws properly to avoid poor contact and overheating. Verify pull-in and release action by applying coil voltage.

Interface

Coil control screw terminals, NO/NC/COM contact screw terminals, DIN rail locking buckle.

Diagnostic

No pull-in action: coil open circuit or wrong coil voltage. Cannot release: contact welding caused by overload current. Terminal overheating: loose wiring or excessive load current. LED not lit: no voltage supplied to coil.
