ProSoft MVI71-MNET Communication Module

Feature & Principle

It is a Modbus TCP/IP communication module developed by ProSoft for Allen‑Bradley 1771 PLC rack. It supports both Modbus TCP client and server modes at the same time. It establishes Ethernet connection with Modbus instruments, transmitters and other controllers, and completes data mapping exchange with the 1771 CPU via backplane bus. It has internal register buffer for data isolation, supports multiple floating-point formats, configured by ProSoft Configuration Builder software. This module is discontinued and widely used as maintenance spare for old 1771 automation systems.
