Feature & Principle

It is a wafer-type vortex flowmeter of Rosemount 8800D series. Based on Karman vortex street principle, it detects vortex frequency generated by fluid passing the bluff body and converts frequency signal into flow value. Without impulse piping and gaskets, it reduces leakage risk. Integrated temperature detection option realizes mass flow compensation. It supports HART digital communication, built-in advanced diagnostic functions, and meets SIL2 safety requirement. Widely used for gas, steam and liquid flow measurement in process industries.
