Feature & Principle

It is Rosemount 8800D reducer vortex flow meter. It works on vortex shedding principle. Fluid passes the bluff body to generate regular vortices, the sensor detects vortex frequency and converts it into flow value. Gasket-free body removes leakage points and anti-clogging structure reduces blockage risk. It supports HART communication for remote configuration, calibration and diagnostic. Isolated sensor can be replaced without process shutdown. This reducer version is used to match smaller measuring range on larger pipeline.
