FunctionThis IGBT brake chopper module consumes regenerative energy generated by motor deceleration. When DC bus voltage exceeds threshold, IGBT turns on to connect braking resistor and release excess energy. It monitors DC bus voltage, IGBT temperature and braking current. Equipped with overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature protection, and fault signal output. Terminal block for DC bus and braking resistor wiring, LED status indicators on front panel.

InstallationPower off the whole DC bus system before installation. Mount BTS20-300-40-IGBT vertically inside control cabinet on metal backplate with fixing screws. Reserve sufficient ventilation space for heat dissipation. Separate high-voltage DC wiring and low-voltage control signal cables. Connect DC bus terminals and braking resistor terminals strictly following wiring diagram. After wiring, test voltage threshold and braking response before system operation.
