System compatibilityHF040-503 belongs to SEW HF series sine output filter,specially matched for MOVITRAC 31C size 040 inverters. It is also compatible with MOVIDRIVE series drives under VFC control mode. Widely used for conveyor,packaging and material handling automation equipment,legacy SEW drive system maintenance and spare replacement.

FunctionThis sine output filter converts the PWM square-wave output of inverter into smooth sine waveform. It suppresses voltage spikes and high-frequency discharge current on long motor cables over 100m,protects motor winding insulation from peak voltage damage. It reduces motor noise and heat generation,extends service life of motor,also works for multi-motor parallel group drive systems. Only suitable for V/f and VFC control modes, not for hoist applications.

InstallationDisconnect main power before installation. Install HF040-503 inside control cabinet,place between inverter output terminals and motor cable. Keep short wiring between inverter and filter. Reserve sufficient ventilation space. Use shielded motor cable and reliable PE grounding. Separate power wiring from signal cables to avoid electromagnetic interference. Check all terminals tightness before power on.
