Module Feature

SIEB & MEYER 26.39.058.2 and 26.39.023.7 are high dynamic digital servo amplifiers, designed for high-precision motion control tasks for CNC machine and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. It supports high response positioning control, fast torque adjustment and stable speed regulation. Built-in multi-channel voltage, current and temperature monitoring protection circuit. Compact metal housing with excellent EMC and anti-vibration performance. Widely applied in PCB routing, precision drilling, semiconductor processing and CNC machining centers.

Working principle

Three-phase AC input power passes EMI filter and rectifier bridge and converts into stable DC bus. Internal power stack converts DC bus into adjustable high-frequency three-phase AC power to drive servo motor. The amplifier continuously collects real-time encoder speed and position feedback signal to execute closed-loop speed and position control. When overvoltage, overcurrent or overtemperature fault detected, the amplifier immediately cuts power output and sends fault code to upper CNC system for safety interlock.

Function

26.39.058.2 / 26.39.023.7 servo amplifier manufactured by SIEB & MEYER. It provides high dynamic three-phase power to servo motor and realizes high-precision positioning control. Motor overload, cable short-circuit, fan failure or capacitor aging will trigger protection and disable power output. It is core power control unit for SIEB & MEYER CNC motion system.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off all rack power completely. Install amplifier into designated cabinet rack slot and fix securely, confirm stable communication connection. Wire motor power cable and encoder feedback cable correctly. Configure motion parameters and run auto-tuning via SIEB & MEYER commissioning software, test axis movement before formal machining.

Diagnostic

No power LED: Missing 3-phase AC input, blown input fuse or wrong wiring. Drive not ready: Poor fiber/backplane contact, pre-charge circuit failure or communication error. Overcurrent alarm: Servo motor winding short, damaged power cable or mechanical jam. Overheat alarm: Cooling fan failure, clogged heat sink or high ambient temperature. Position deviation fault: Damaged encoder, loose feedback cable or incorrect parameter setting.
