Module Feature

6SL3120‑1TE31‑3AA3 is Siemens SINAMICS S120 booksize single motor module. It adopts internal air cooling, rated output current 132A. It supports extended Safety Integrated safety functions, communicates with controller and motor encoder through DRIVE‑CLiQ. Widely used for machine tool spindle and high‑power servo axis control.

Working principle

It receives DC bus power from S120 line module. Internal IGBT unit converts DC into variable‑frequency three‑phase AC to drive synchronous or asynchronous motor. DRIVE‑CLiQ transmits encoder position signal to realize closed‑loop speed and position control.

Onboard components

IGBT power unit, drive control circuit, DRIVE‑CLiQ communication port, DC bus terminal, motor power terminal, status LED, cooling fan and metal housing.
