System compatibility39EAMCAN is compatible with SIEMENS MOORE APACS+ distributed control system and QUADLOG safety system. It works with ACM series controller and matched marshalling termination boards for analog signal acquisition and output.

FunctionThis EAM enhanced analog module collects 4-20mA measurement signals from field transmitters and outputs 4-20mA control signals to regulating valves. It handles pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level analog signals, supports signal scaling, filtering and per-channel fault diagnosis. It transfers data to system controller through backplane bus for closed-loop process control.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into designated rack slot and lock the front latch. Connect ribbon cable between module and marshalling termination assembly, wire field transmitters and control valves to terminal blocks. Configure channel range and scaling parameters via APACS engineering software after power restoration.
