System compatibilityQLIDM115ACBBN is compatible with SIEMENS MOORE QUADLOG safety instrumented system and APACS+ distributed control system. It installs in QUADLOG rack chassis and cooperates with QLCCM series safety controller to collect safety-related discrete field signals.

FunctionThis IDM intelligent discrete input module receives 115VAC on/off digital signals from field switches, limit switches and safety interlock sensors. It converts field discrete signals into digital data and transmits to safety controller via backplane bus. It monitors equipment status, emergency stop and safety interlock signals for SIS safety shutdown loops, supports comprehensive channel self-diagnosis.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into designated rack slot and lock the front latch. Connect ribbon cable between module and marshalling termination board, wire field 115VAC discrete devices to terminal assembly. Configure channel parameters via QUADLOG engineering software after power on.
