System compatibility39PFMAAN is compatible with SIEMENS MOORE APACS+ distributed control system. It works with ACM series controller, connecting APACS+ rack to PROFIBUS DP field instruments, remote I/O and fieldbus slave devices.

FunctionThis PROFIBUS fieldbus module acts as the PROFIBUS DP master interface for APACS+ DCS. It exchanges process variables, device status and control commands between APACS+ controller and PROFIBUS DP field slave devices. It realizes fieldbus data acquisition and remote control, supports bus diagnosis and slave device status monitoring.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into designated rack slot and lock the front latch. Connect PROFIBUS DP shielded cable to fieldbus port, complete bus terminal resistor setting. Configure station address and slave device list via APACS engineering software after power on, verify bus communication.
