System compatibilityQLCDODCAAN is compatible with SIEMENS MOORE QUADLOG SIS and APACS+ distributed control system. It cooperates with QLCCM safety controller and matching marshalling termination boards to drive safety-related field discrete actuators.

FunctionThis CDO-DC critical discrete output module receives safety interlock commands from QUADLOG safety controller via backplane bus. It outputs 24VDC safety signals to control emergency shutdown solenoid valves, safety relays and other safety actuators. It supports per-channel self-diagnosis, line fault detection and de-energize-to-trip logic, to execute ESD protection action when safety conditions are violated.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into designated rack slot and lock the front latch. Connect ribbon cable between module and marshalling termination assembly, wire field 24VDC safety actuators to terminal assembly. Configure channel parameters and safety voting logic via QUADLOG engineering software after power on, complete SIF loop test before online operation.
