System compatibility39PFMAAN is compatible with SIEMENS MOORE APACS+ distributed control system. It can be inserted into standard APACS rack to connect PROFIBUS DP field devices, such as remote I/O, drives and field transmitters.

FunctionThis PROFIBUS fieldbus module acts as the interface between APACS+ backplane bus and PROFIBUS DP field network. It handles data exchange between DCS controller and field PROFIBUS slaves, transmits process values, diagnostic signals and control commands.

InstallationCut off rack power before installation. Insert the module into designated APACS rack slot and lock the latch. Connect PROFIBUS DP cable to the front port and set bus terminal resistor. Configure station address via system software after power-up.
