3401 also named DO3401,is TMR triple‑modular‑redundant supervised digital output module for Triconex Trident SIS safety instrumented system. It receives control commands from main processor and outputs switching signals to field safety actuators.

16‑channel supervised output design,each channel adopts self‑limiting over‑current protection. Adopts 2oo3 hardware voting mechanism,three independent circuit paths process control signals respectively,single‑path hardware fault will not affect module normal operation. Built‑in loop‑back supervision circuit,detects open‑circuit,short‑circuit and field power loss fault conditions. Supports hot‑spare redundant backup configuration.

Hot‑swap design allows module replacement without SIS system shutdown. Front‑panel multi‑LED indicates module running,fault,active and per‑point channel status. Must cooperate with dedicated baseplate 2401 or 2404 for field wiring. Widely deployed in petrochemical,oil‑gas and thermal‑power Trident SIS safety racks for safety‑critical actuator driving.
