Module Feature

TPC1570HC1A0001E belongs to Advantech TPC-1570H legacy industrial panel PC series.

It adopts 15-inch XGA 1024×768 TFT LCD with resistive touchscreen, built-in Intel Celeron M 1GHz CPU, fanless heat dissipation design to avoid dust and fan failure risk. It supports 18~32VDC wide range DC power supply, integrates 10/100M Ethernet, RS232/485 serial communication, USB and VGA interface. The aluminum-magnesium alloy front panel supports panel flush mounting, supports Windows XP / WinXPe operating system, with watchdog timer function, widely deployed as HMI host for packaging machinery, production line, water treatment and factory automation control.

Working principle

The embedded industrial mainboard runs HMI configuration software, collects data from PLC and field instruments through serial port or Ethernet.

Touch screen receives operator’s touch command, uploads operation instruction to control system, and displays real-time process parameters, alarm information and trend curve on LCD screen. Watchdog circuit automatically resets the system when program crash occurs to improve field operation stability.

Onboard components

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate power on status, hard disk activity and network communication running status.

Installation

Open the cabinet panel opening matching the dimension, fix the panel with mounting clamps from rear side.

Connect 24VDC power cable, Ethernet and serial communication wiring, install operating system and HMI project before commissioning.

Diagnostic

No display: DC power supply abnormal, backlight aging or mainboard failure. Touch no response: Touch controller driver exception, touch film damage or wiring loose. Communication intermittent: Serial port parameter mismatch, network cable poor contact or EMC interference.
