This Allen-Bradley 1756-CNBR is a redundant ControlNet bridge module for ControlLogix PLC chassis. It features dual independent A/B ControlNet channels to realize network media redundancy. When one cable channel fails, communication automatically switches to the backup channel without process interruption. It supports scheduled real-time I/O data transmission and unscheduled message communication, can connect ControlLogix CPU with ControlNet remote I/O, drives, HMI and other CIP devices. It supports hot swapping, built-in rich link diagnosis. This model has been discontinued, the replacement model is 1756-CN2R, widely used in petrochemical, power, metallurgy and other occasions requiring high network reliability.
