Product Brief:
1336‑B005‑EAD‑L3 is factory‑optioned NEMA‑1 IP20 enclosed 5‑HP 460V 1336‑PLUS full drive unit, not separate PCB boards. Based on base model 1336‑B005‑EAD, factory fitted L3 incremental encoder feedback board, without FA2 local HIM panel.
L3 board accepts incremental encoder pulse signals from motor shaft, improves low‑speed torque and speed stability under closed‑loop vector. Fault code 60 will trigger upon encoder signal loss, phase error or quadrature signal abnormality. No local keypad is fitted; external HIM must be connected for commissioning and parameter editing.
Internal hardware includes rectifier power stack, IGBT inverter section, main control CPU board, auxiliary power supply and signal sampling‑conditioning circuits. Retains onboard base analog/digital hard‑wired I/O terminals. Supports SCANport communication via external adapters.
Full protections: over‑current, over‑voltage, under‑voltage, over‑temperature, input phase‑loss, motor thermal overload, ground‑fault plus encoder loss alarm. For full‑unit replacement, backup parameters, verify firmware compatibility and complete motor auto‑tuning together with encoder polarity calibration. ESD protection required for installation and commissioning. Encoder shielded cable is recommended; separate power and signal wiring routes.
Commonly used for legacy conveyors, material‑handling and processing machinery requiring high‑precision closed‑loop speed regulation; local operation depends on external HIM device.
