Products Description
Anton Paar Multiwave 7101 Microwave Digestion Instrument Unit

Module Feature
Multiwave 7101 is Anton Paar laboratory-grade microwave sample digestion instrument, belongs to Multiwave 7000 series. It adopts PDC pre-pressurized digestion cavity technology, maximum microwave output power 1500W, supports high temperature and high pressure closed acid digestion. The equipment has multi-level redundant safety protection mechanism, corrosion-resistant cavity structure, suitable for aqua regia, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and other strong corrosive digestion reagents. Built-in workflow guided program, supports one-batch multi-sample simultaneous digestion, matching TFM / quartz digestion vessels of different specifications. Widely used in environmental monitoring, geological mineral, food safety, pharmaceutical and petrochemical laboratories, as sample pretreatment equipment before elemental content testing such as ICP, ICP-MS and atomic absorption.
Working principle
Microwave energy directly acts on the polar molecules inside the digestion reagent, rapid heating and pressure rise inside the sealed digestion tank. Under high temperature and high pressure, the organic and inorganic matrix of the sample is rapidly decomposed and dissolved into the acid solution. The built-in temperature and pressure sensors monitor the state of each rotor tank in real time, and the host adjusts the microwave output power dynamically according to the set temperature curve, to realize controllable closed digestion. After digestion is completed, the built-in cooling system reduces the temperature and pressure safely before opening the cavity.
Onboard components
Microwave magnetron power assembly, PDC pressurized digestion cavity, corrosion-resistant rotor bracket, temperature & pressure optical fiber sensor, touch screen industrial controller, built-in cooling air circuit, safety interlock door lock assembly, exhaust gas adsorption channel, communication circuit board, compatible TFM / quartz digestion vessels.
LED indicators
Front touch screen with digital status display; LED status lights for power, running, alarm and fault. Real-time display of cavity temperature, pressure, program progress and fault alarm information.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Self-diagnosis covers microwave power anomaly, fiber temperature sensor failure, cavity over-temperature, over-pressure, door interlock fault, cooling fan failure, exhaust abnormality. Fault codes and running logs are stored in the instrument memory, which can be exported together with digestion method files.
Programming software
Local touch screen can edit digestion temperature-time curve methods; supporting Anton Paar LabWare upper computer software for method management, data record export, audit trail and LIMS system docking.
