Module Feature

VXM14142T belongs to Baldor XP series explosion-proof squirrel-cage induction motor. Rated 1HP at 60Hz,0.75HP at 50Hz,1800RPM,230/460VAC,NEMA 143TC frame,foot mount plus C-face flange,XPFC explosion-proof totally enclosed fan cooled construction. Approved for Class I Div 1 Group D,Class II Div 1 Group F & G hazardous locations. Design B torque characteristic,Class F insulation,continuous duty. Widely used on pumps,blowers and conveyors in chemical,petrochemical and solvent processing hazardous areas.

Working principle

Three-phase AC power creates rotating magnetic field to drive squirrel-cage rotor. XPFC explosion-proof housing contains internal sparks and prevents ignition of surrounding flammable gas/dust. Shaft-mounted fan provides forced air cooling inside sealed enclosure. Combined foot and C-face flange allows direct coupling to pumps and reducers.

Installation

Follow strict safety procedure before handling.Mount motor on rigid base and align coupling with load.Connect three-phase power cable to explosion-proof terminal box,verify rotation direction before commissioning.Torque terminal box bolts to maintain flame path integrity.
