The Bender EDS490-D-2 (B91080010) ISOSCAN insulation fault locator automatically pinpoints insulation faults in unearthed AC/DC IT systems without interrupting supply.

It works with an ISOMETER® monitor such as IRDH575 that injects a locating current signal; branch CTs detect the signal and the device identifies the faulty circuit.

It carries 12 measuring channels, each with its own alarm contact, scanned in parallel within 10 s; up to 90 EDS units expand to 1080 channels on one BMS bus.

Adjustable response sensitivity 2-10 mA suits main and control circuits with leakage capacitance.

It provides two common alarm relays (changeover) plus 12 independent channel alarm contacts, graphical LCD, 300-event history memory and RS-485 BMS interface.

It is used as spare replacement in industrial, marine, medical IT and PV DC insulation monitoring systems.
