Bently Nevada 20-12-01-01-00-00-02 Proximity Probe

Feature & Principle

It is an eddy current proximity sensor. The probe head emits high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When the conductive metal shaft approaches, eddy current is generated on the target surface, which changes the coil impedance. The signal variation reflects the distance between probe and shaft. It is non-contact measurement, suitable for high-speed rotating shaft vibration and thrust position monitoring. It works together with matching extension cable and monitor module.
