Calpeda NM100/20D Centrifugal Pump Unit

Module Feature

NM100/20D is a single-impeller close-coupled centrifugal pump from Calpeda NM range.

It adopts integrated pump and motor structure without intermediate coupling. It is suitable for clean, non-abrasive and non-corrosive liquid with solid content below 0.2%. It supports continuous S1 duty, max working pressure 10 bar, liquid temperature range -10℃ ~ +90℃. It is widely applied in heating, cooling circuit, water supply and irrigation projects.

Working principle

The motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed.

Liquid enters the centre of impeller, gains kinetic energy and pressure energy under centrifugal force, then discharges through pump volute. The volute converts velocity energy into stable pressure head for pipeline transportation.

Onboard components

Cast iron pump casing, brass impeller, mechanical shaft seal, lantern bracket, 2-pole IE3 induction motor, pump inlet and outlet flanges.

LED indicators

Not applicable.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

No built-in electronic self-test. Inspection items include bearing noise, seal leakage, vibration and outlet pressure monitoring.

Installation

Install on rigid base, align pipeline to avoid mechanical stress.

Fill pump casing with liquid before startup, check seal and bearing temperature after commissioning.

Interface

Flange inlet and outlet ports, three-phase power terminal box.

Diagnostic

No water delivery: Air trapped inside pump, wrong rotation direction or blocked suction line. Excessive vibration: Loose base bolt, bearing wear or impeller fouling. Shaft seal leakage: Seal ring aging, dry running damage or pressure surge.
