Feature & Principle

It is Dynapar NorthStar HSD44 series heavy-duty hollow shaft optical incremental encoder. It converts shaft rotation into quadrature pulse signals for speed and position feedback. Equipped with stainless steel code disc and large optical sensing gap to reduce sensitivity to vibration and bearing runout. The integrated ASIC design improves reliability, with flexible isolated coupling to block shaft current damage. Rugged sealed housing resists dust, moisture and contaminants, suitable for continuous operation in severe industrial environments.
