Eaton XTJP-G07-L1 Jockey Pump Controller Unit

Module Feature

XTJP-G07-L1 belongs to Eaton XTJP Jockey Touch fire jockey pump controller series, rated 7HP. It adopts direct full voltage starting method, the integrated combination motor controller integrates circuit breaker and thermal overload relay. Equipped with microprocessor-based color touchscreen interface for pressure setpoint adjustment, real-time monitoring and fault log review. NEMA4X metal enclosure provides dust and splash water protection, suitable for indoor fire pump room installation. Built-in pressure transducer interface, automatically starts and stops jockey pump to stabilize pipeline pressure of fire sprinkler system. Widely used for commercial building, warehouse and factory fire protection systems.

Working principle

Pressure sensor continuously detects fire pipeline pressure value and sends signal to main control board. When pipeline pressure drops below low pressure setpoint, controller energizes motor starter to start jockey pump for pressure supplement. When pressure rises above high pressure threshold, controller cuts off motor power to stop pump. Touchscreen records operating events and fault information for maintenance inspection.

Installation

Follow strict fire electrical safety procedure before handling.Mount controller firmly in fire pump room.Connect main power cable, jockey pump motor cable and pressure sensor wiring. Set high/low pressure thresholds on touchscreen, test automatic start-stop function before putting into fire protection service.
