Function

5420M-24W-4YE is high density multi-gigabit Layer3 PoE edge switch. 24 ports deliver 2.5G bandwidth and up to 90W PoE power for high-power wireless access points and industrial IP devices. Four SFP28 ports support 10G/25G fiber uplink to aggregation switches. Dual SFP-DD ports realize high-speed stacking. Hardware MACsec encrypts data on link layer. It supports static & dynamic routing, VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, ACL, QoS and multicast snooping. It monitors port link status, PoE power consumption, system temperature and fan health, and triggers hardware fault alarms. Suitable for high-speed multi-gig enterprise access networks.

Installation

Mount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cable. Install redundant PSU for power redundancy if needed. Insert SFP28 transceivers and fiber cords for uplink. Fit SFP-DD stacking modules when stacking topology required. Connect console port for initial configuration. Verify boot,port link,PoE output and stacking function before commissioning.
