Function

7GR4280-19 is 16-port gigabit copper hot-swappable line card for Matrix N chassis. It provides 16 copper gigabit interfaces to connect servers, workstations and access switches. DFE Platinum hardware engine delivers wire-speed Layer2 switching, Layer3 routing and Layer4 ACL/QoS processing. Hot-swap design allows module replacement without chassis power shutdown, minimizing network downtime. Supports multicast routing and advanced security ACL policy. Widely deployed in large campus core, hospital and enterprise aggregation network.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Insert I/O module into empty Matrix N chassis slot and tighten captive retaining screws. Plug RJ45 copper cables to front ports. Verify module detection via chassis CLI, configure VLAN, routing and ACL/QoS policy. Test port negotiation status after power-up.
