Function

C5K125-24P2-G is PoE+ capable stackable Layer3 gigabit access switch from Enterasys C5 series. 24 PoE+ copper ports supply power and data to wireless access points, IP phones and security cameras. Two combo SFP ports provide flexible 1G fiber uplink, two dedicated SFP+ slots support high-speed 10G uplink to aggregation layer. Stacking technology unifies multiple switches for simplified management. Supports 802.1X port authentication, ACL, QoS and IGMP multicast for multimedia traffic. External RPS interface supports backup power for high availability deployment. Widely used for office, campus, hospital and hotel PoE wired access network.

InstallationMount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Connect AC power cord. Insert SFP / SFP+ transceivers for uplink as required. Deploy stacking cable if multi-unit stacking needed. Access console port for initial configuration, set VLAN, PoE profile, routing and security policy. Verify port status and stack synchronization after power-up.
