System compatibility7C107 is Extreme Networks Matrix N7 chassis, formerly Enterasys. Compatible with all Matrix N-series DFE and Platinum DFE line cards including 7H4382 series,7G4202 series,7G4200 series. It supports dual redundant power supplies and hot-swappable fan tray for high availability. Widely used for legacy enterprise core and aggregation network spare replacement.

Function7C107 is the main enclosure of Matrix N7 core switch. It provides backplane interconnection for all installed line cards, power distribution and system cooling. It supports 1+1 redundant power input and hot swap of fan tray without power interruption. It works with DFE line cards to realize wire-speed Layer2 switching, Layer3 routing,ACL,QoS,multicast and security control. It collects hardware status of all modules, power supplies and fans, and reports fault alarms via LANVIEW LED and SNMP. Used for enterprise campus core and aggregation layer large-scale network deployment.

InstallationMount 7C107 chassis to standard 19-inch rack, ensure 3-inch clearance for ventilation. Install power supplies and fan tray first, then insert DFE line cards into the slots. Connect AC power cables. Connect console port to configure EOS system. Verify chassis power-on, fan operation and module recognition before putting into production.
