System compatibility802043-01-03 is Extreme Networks original 40G breakout active optical cable. Compatible with Extreme X620, X650, X670V, X460-G2, 5520 series and VSP7400 switches with QSFP+ slots. It splits one 40G QSFP+ port into four independent 10G LC fiber downlinks for servers or secondary switches. Widely used for data center rack fan-out wiring and spare replacement.

Function802043-01-03 integrates parallel optical transceivers inside the cable assembly. It splits 40G SR4 parallel optical lanes into four separate 10G transmission channels over multimode fiber. It supports DDM to monitor transmit optical power, receive power, module temperature and supply voltage. It triggers alarms for optical signal loss, over-temperature or module hardware fault. Used to replace faulty 40G-to-LC breakout AOC for data center fan-out networking.

InstallationPower off chassis before installation. Insert QSFP+ main end into the switch QSFP+ slot. Connect four LC duplex fiber connectors to 10G ports of servers or secondary switches.
